Infranomic heaters omit beams of Far Infrared energy which flood the entire room with warmth.  So powerful are these beams they actually absorb into all materials within the room, including the walls, ceiling and floor.  As Far Infrared warms the entire envelope of the room the heat retention is far greater to that of warm air systems and the actual operating time of the heater is greatly reduced and the heat is very even throughout the room.

As Infranomic heaters produce Far Infrared they do not use heating elements that are found in conventional heaters instead they have special matting that produces the Far-Infrared beams and it is these beams that heat you and your surroundings; as a result of this Infranomic heaters use far less electricity to that of conventional heaters in order to heat the room.

Far Infrared heating is best described as a ‘Direct Heat Source’ as it doesn’t rely on any other form of media in order to provide you with heat.

Once produced the overall efficiency of the heat is affected by the amount of other media used in order to transfer that heat to you.

Media = Heat Lose

Heat lose can occur for example when pumping large amounts of water around a central heating system in order to heat up radiators; Heat retaining materials that can be found in Storage Heaters generally don’t hold the heat for long periods and can cool down.  Most importantly any system that relies heating the air [convection] has to heat the entire volume of air a room in order to transfer the heat to you; this means this type of heating system may run for much longer periods and can easily be lost when doors are opened.

Infranomic don’t use any media to give you warmth; 100% of the heat produced is used to heat the room.  The added advantage of it heating the envelope of the building doesn’t affect its efficiency it purely adds to it.
